TRI-LINGUAL, LLC
REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
Tri-Lingual, LLC ("Tri-Lingual," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to providing a high-quality language learning experience through live instruction, native-speaking Conversation Partners, digital learning tools, and structured educational programs.
Because enrollment reserves limited instructional capacity and grants immediate access to proprietary digital content, software, and educational resources, this Refund Policy governs all purchases made through Tri-Lingual.
By purchasing any program, subscription, course, or service from Tri-Lingual, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.
1. OUR COMMITMENT
We stand behind the quality of our programs and are committed to helping students succeed. Language acquisition, however, requires consistent participation by both the Company and the student.
For this reason, refunds are based on objective participation and eligibility requirements rather than subjective impressions or preferences.
2. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Eligible students who fully participate in the program but remain dissatisfied may request a refund under the conditions outlined in this Policy.
To qualify, the student must demonstrate meaningful participation throughout the program as described below.
3. ELIGIBILITY FOR A REFUND
A student may be eligible for a refund only if all of the following conditions are met:
The refund request is submitted in writing to [email protected].
The request is submitted within the applicable refund period described below.
The student has complied with all program participation requirements.
The student has attended at least ninety percent (90%) of all scheduled live Conversation Partner sessions.
The student has completed at least ninety percent (90%) of the required asynchronous learning activities assigned within the platform.
The student's account remains in good standing and is not subject to suspension or termination for violation of the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
Failure to satisfy any of the above requirements may result in the denial of a refund request.
4. REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE
Refund requests must be received no later than seven (7) calendar days after the official completion date of the applicable program unless otherwise stated in a written promotional offer.
Requests received after the applicable deadline will not be considered.
5. NON-REFUNDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
Except where prohibited by applicable law, refunds will not be issued under any of the following circumstances:
The student has accessed course materials, software, or digital resources and simply changes their mind.
The student fails to attend scheduled sessions.
The student voluntarily withdraws from the program.
The student fails to complete assigned learning activities.
The student does not participate sufficiently to satisfy the eligibility requirements.
The student misses sessions due to scheduling conflicts, travel, work obligations, or personal commitments.
The student is removed from the program for violating the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
The program is purchased using promotional pricing, scholarships, gift certificates, or other special offers designated as non-refundable.
The student fails to utilize available scheduling, rescheduling, or program support resources provided by Tri-Lingual.
6. DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Upon enrollment, students receive immediate access to proprietary digital educational materials, software, downloadable content, learning resources, and platform features.
Because these digital resources are made available immediately, such digital access is generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly provided under this Policy.
7. LIVE INSTRUCTION
Enrollment reserves limited instructional capacity with Tri-Lingual's Conversation Partners and instructional staff.
Missed live sessions are not refundable.
Rescheduling, make-up sessions, and attendance policies are governed separately by the Program Participation & Sprint Agreement.
8. SUBSCRIPTIONS
For subscription-based services:
Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable.
Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle the subscriber to a refund for the current billing period.
Access continues until the end of the paid subscription term unless otherwise specified.
9. PAYMENT PLANS
Students enrolled under payment plans remain responsible for all amounts due under their enrollment agreement unless Tri-Lingual approves a refund in accordance with this Policy.
Approval of a refund does not automatically cancel future payment obligations unless expressly stated in writing by Tri-Lingual.
10. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Tri-Lingual encourages students to contact our support team before initiating a payment dispute with their financial institution.
When evaluating refund requests or responding to payment disputes, Tri-Lingual may rely on business records including, but not limited to:
Course access logs
Login history
Platform activity records
Session attendance records
Scheduling records
Assignment completion records
Communication history
System timestamps
These records help demonstrate the services made available and the student's participation in the program.
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights that consumers may have under applicable law or through their payment card issuer.
11. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to:
Email: [email protected]
The request should include:
Student's full name
Email address associated with the account
Program purchased
Date of purchase
Reason for the request
Any supporting documentation the student wishes to provide
Tri-Lingual may request additional information before making a determination.
12. REVIEW PROCESS
Refund requests are reviewed individually.
Tri-Lingual will make commercially reasonable efforts to issue a written determination within fourteen (14) business days after receiving all required information.
Approval of one refund request does not create an obligation to approve future requests.
13. EXCEPTIONS REQUIRED BY LAW
If applicable federal, state, or local law grants a consumer greater refund rights than those described in this Policy, Tri-Lingual will comply with those legal requirements to the extent required.
14. POLICY CHANGES
Tri-Lingual reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time.
Any changes will apply prospectively and will not affect purchases completed before the revised Policy becomes effective unless required by law.
